Warranty Policy

1. 30-Day Limited Powertrain Warranty

Every motorcycle sold by Preowned Hogs is covered by a 30-day or 1,000-mile limited powertrain warranty (whichever comes first), beginning on the date of delivery.

2. What’s Covered

The limited powertrain warranty covers the mechanical failure of these components only:

  • Engine (cylinders, pistons, crankshaft, camshaft, rods, valves, oil pump)
  • Transmission (internal gears, shafts, bearings)
  • Primary drive (clutch basket, primary gears)
  • Final drive (belt or chain, pulley/sprockets)

3. What’s NOT Covered

  • Normal wear and tear items (tires, brakes, chains, belts under 50% wear, batteries, filters, fluids)
  • Electrical components (lights, ECU, sensors, wiring harness)
  • Suspension, body panels, paint, trim, seats
  • Damage from accident, misuse, racing, off-road use, or neglect
  • Modifications or alterations made after delivery
  • Pre-existing conditions disclosed at time of sale
  • Routine maintenance (oil changes, tune-ups, inspections)

4. Coverage Period

Warranty begins on the date of delivery and expires on the earlier of:

  • 30 calendar days from delivery date, or
  • 1,000 additional miles ridden beyond the mileage at delivery

5. Making a Claim

  1. Stop operating the motorcycle as soon as the issue is noticed.
  2. Email support@preownedhogs.com within 48 hours describing the issue and current mileage.
  3. We will authorize an inspection at a qualified motorcycle shop OR arrange transport back to our Laredo facility.
  4. Repair or replacement is completed at our discretion within 30 business days of claim approval.

6. Warranty Limitations

Our maximum liability under this warranty is the purchase price of the covered component or the depreciated value of the motorcycle, whichever is less. We do not cover towing, rental, lodging, or consequential damages.

7. Beyond 30 Days

After the 30-day warranty expires, motorcycles are covered only by any applicable third-party service contract or extended warranty you purchased separately. Third-party extended service plans are available at the time of purchase — contact us for options.
